Visiting ABC Infant/Toddler Center...

(Dec 13th 2010)

Yesterday, I went and visited all the toddlers and teachers I worked with while attending college.  It was so nice to see everyone again and I was very happy to get many hugs from all the children.  I can't believe how fast the year is already going and that this week I will finally be graduating!

Thanks ABC and Daree for being such wonderful supporters.. Make sure to keep in touch!

Have a great day :)

Last Saturday, I helped at Santa's Village in Fargo.  I made carfts with the children and shared stories with all the families about Christmas time.  I had so much fun talking to Mr and Mrs Clause and also had lots of fun hanging out with Santa's little helpers.

Come out and see Miss Midwest and Santa this Wed night from 4-7pm

Hope to see you there... Thanks again!

Happy Holidays!

Building Habitat Homes in Owatonna!

Steel and Waseca County

After working with Habitat offices in Owatonna for the last couple weeks, I had the opportunity to go out to the build sites this week and meet one of the families! We would like to dedicate two homes this January! We should have both the Owatonna homes done next month and would love any extra volunteers before the holidays! Thanks again to all our volunteers and keep up the good work! God bless :)

Ringing Bells for Salvation Army!

Happy Holidays Everyone and "Owatonnians"

This morning, my aunt Mair and I rang bells for the Salvation Army at Wal-Mart in Owatonna.  We had so much fun dancing around and singing christmas songs to stay warm.  We put lots of smiles on faces and loved giving a christmas cheer to all the people that walked into Wal-Mart.  After two hours of ringing, we were thankful to help raise money for the Salvation Army!

Come out to Wal-Mart tommorrow afternoon.... I will be ringing bells again with my good old Gramps!

Thanks again and God bless :)

Christmas in the Village

Christmas in the Village
Owatonna, MN

Tonight, the Owatonna Girl Scouts and I had a fun time at the Christmas village in Owatonna.  We made crafts, ate christmas cookies and visited with people in the village.  It was snowing and my sister, Lindsay and I had lots of fun taking pictures in the snow (she almost pushed me in a snow pile :).  The Owatonna community has been so wonderful in giving me a chance to talk to people through out the christmas events in town.  Thanks to Village of Yesteryear for this experience!

Happy Holidays Everyone and God Bless!

Holiday Lights Parade- Owatonna

Holiday Lights Parade 2010
Owatonna, MN

(December 2nd) Last night, we had so much fun at the Holiday Lights Parade in Owatonna.  We decorated my cousin, Nicole's convertible with twinkle lights and christmas decorations.  It was very cold, but we bundled up in the back with many blankets.  My little sister, Kiana was my "Little Miss Midwest" that night and she had a blast waving to all the people in the parade.  That evening, they had christmas carolers and hot chocolate at centeral park in Owatonna.  We were so thankful to have this opportunity in the community.  Thanks again to Owatonna shoe who helped with regestration!

Make sure to bunddle up and keep warm this winter! Happy Holidays!

Quilting at the Church!!

(Thurs Dec 2nd) This morning I had a fun experience at Our Saviors Lutheran Church quiliting with my Grandma.  The women were so nice and taught me how to quilt.  After making two quilts, drinking lots of coffee and having many treats, we had a wonderful day filled with story sharing and laughter.  It was so nice to spend the morning at the church and with my Grandma.  She is such an inspiration to me and I am so very blessed to have such an amazing grandmother!

Thanks for this opportunity and God bless!
