Jamaica Mission Trip...

Building Foundations For Edcuation

Jamaica Pre-Primary School

We were so blessed to have the opportunity to go on a Mission Trip to Jamaica a few weeks ago.  I was honored to help teach at local school in Jamaica, sharing our testimonies and the wonderful things God has in-store for all our lives. These children brought joy to my heart in many ways, watching them play and smile with what little amount of items they had.  The gave me strength and courage, happiness and beauty to see education come to life through their eyes.  God put a vision on my heart to use my Plateform and my Education Degree to help build a school in Jamaica. During our mission work, I met a few women that have that same vision and as a team will help build a ministry through education.  I was so blessed to have this opportunity and want to thank all my friends and family for all the wonderful support!

Morris Elementary School Community Build!

Morris Elementary School has been such a wonderful school in giving me the opportunity to bring Community Builds into the classroom for their students.  I have been very blessed to have these experiences and want to thank the second grade teachers for inviting me into their classrooms. I am so excited to start my children's book with this second grade class and can't wait to share it with many more classrooms in the future!

1st Annual Hardhats for Habitats Run/Walk 2011

Hardhats for Habitats!

  

I was very honored to help establish the first annual run/walk for Habitat for Humanity in our community.  With all the volunteers and supporters, we came together as a Habitat family and helped build up our community together by having faith in each other.  I was so amazed at how fast we worked together and despite the rain, we had a great turn out and many participants.  We ended up raising over $500 for Habitat for Humanity and we can't wait to continue to make this an annual event, growing more every year.

I want to thank all our supporters and volunteers for their support and dedicated time.  Habitat for Humanity was very happy to see our whole community come together and support them as an organization!
