Star of Hope Mission Center
Monday night, we had the wonderful opportunity to teach the 6-8 year old students and the Star of Hope mission center in Houston, TX. We read them stories, sang songs and colored pictures. They even had the chance to make their own crowns and think of things that they wanted to be when they grew up! It was such a blessing to have this opportunity and the students were so much fun to work with and teach!
Thank you Star of Hope for this opportunity... not only did we help encourage students, but in the end the children encouraged us as teachers!

Star of Hope Mission Statement:
Star of Hope is a Christ-centered community dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless men, women and their children. Positive life changes are encouraged through structured programs which focus on spiritual growth, education, employment, life management and recovery from substance abuse.
We are funded through public and private donations, the United Way, churches, civic/community groups, corporations, grants and foundations. In addition, we are assisted by more than 11,000 volunteers.
