Texas... here comes Miss Midwest!! I am finally settled down in Texas for my student teaching experience. I already miss Minnesota, but I am really excited to start working with Habitat for Humanity and the local libraries in the Houston area. I will be building homes, working in homeless shelters and reading to children at the local libraries through out the fall. Our first day of school is on Aug 23rd and I am so excited to start teaching my students. I will be working with kindergarten and third graders. I hope everyone has a wonderful new school year and look forward to hearing more of my adeventures in Texas! God Bless :)
